Hello, my name is Caroline.

I am a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree from the University of Zimbabwe (Class of 2023).

With two years of hands-on experience in private practice, hospitals, and schools, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across a range of age groups and needs. My clinical experience includes supporting those with speech sound disorders, stammering, voice disorders, language delays, autism, hearing loss, neurological conditions such as stroke, and feeding or swallowing difficulties, including dysphagia.

Over time, I’ve discovered a particular passion for working with the paediatric population – especially autistic children and those with speech sound disorders. What truly drives me is seeing that moment of connection or understanding in a child’s eyes when they begin to find their voice – both literally and figuratively.

I’m deeply committed to helping autistic children navigate communication, social interaction, and sensory experiences. I’m inspired by the unique perspectives and strengths that autistic individuals bring, and I believe that by embracing and supporting these differences, we can create a more inclusive and empowering environment where they can thrive.

The Words First value that resonates with me most is collaboration. I believe that working closely with families, educators, and fellow professionals is essential in providing well-rounded, individualised care. Together, we can ensure each child receives the support they need to reach their full potential.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching films, and exploring the outdoors. I also love to travel and experience new places. Friends often describe me as confident, funny, and ambitious – qualities I aim to bring into every session.

I’m here to make a positive difference. Let’s work together to build a more inclusive and supportive world.
