Hello, my name is Nida!

With over seven years of experience supporting children and their families, I hold a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy from Riphah International University, Pakistan. I am also a Registered Behaviour Technician and a Certified Autism Specialist. Although I initially earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration, a personal experience inspired me to change my career path and pursue my true passion: helping children communicate, connect, and thrive.

I am a strong advocate for inclusivity and believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their challenges. I am deeply committed to fostering environments where children feel valued, understood, and supported. I also believe in the power of a multidisciplinary approach—collaborating with educators, therapists, and families to create holistic, individualised support plans that lead to meaningful progress and lasting impact.

The Words First value that resonates most with me is child-centred practice. I believe therapy should be shaped by each child’s world—their interests, strengths, culture, and everyday needs. My goal is to create warm, inclusive spaces where children feel safe, heard, and supported, and where families are fully involved in setting and reaching meaningful, functional goals.

Two of my favourite books are The Kite Runner and The Forty Rules of Love—stories that remind me of the power of empathy, storytelling, and human connection. If you asked my friends to describe me in three words, they would say: empathetic, loyal, and committed—qualities I bring to every family I work with.
