Hello, my name is Keshini, and I am an Educational Psychologist originally from the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa. I hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Pretoria and am a Registered Behavioural Technician with hands – on experience supporting children on the autism spectrum.

My professional journey began in educational settings, where I had the privilege of working closely with children with complex needs requiring additional support. This experience ignited my passion for helping children communicate, connect, and thrive – an enduring motivation behind my work today.

In 2020, I completed my BPsych Equivalence in Psychometry at the University of Johannesburg, which strengthened my expertise in assessment and report writing. After obtaining my Master’s degree in 2023, I joined Fourways High School, gaining meaningful experience working with secondary school students.

Since then, I have dedicated my career to supporting schools across South Africa through psycho – educational assessments, concession applications, individual therapy, art and play therapy, and staff development initiatives. I am a passionate advocate for inclusivity and firmly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to flourish, regardless of the challenges they face.

I am committed to fostering environments where children feel safe, valued, and understood. I strongly believe in the power of a multidisciplinary approach – working closely with educators, therapists, carers, and parents to design holistic support plans that promote meaningful progress.

The Words First value that resonates most with me is flexibility, as every child’s journey is unique. Each child brings their own strengths, challenges, and context, and I believe support should always be tailored to reflect that individuality. Flexibility allows us to adapt our thinking, strategies, and approaches to truly meet children and families where they are – providing support that is relevant, meaningful, and impactful.Outside of my work as an Educational Psychologist, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, expressing my creativity through arts and crafts, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and finding balance in nature. Moving to London has been an exciting adventure, and I look forward to discovering its hidden gems – from diverse cultures and vibrant food scenes to breathtaking architecture.

My friends often describe me as empathetic, creative, passionate, and detail – oriented – qualities I strive to bring into every aspect of my work.
