Whole School Audits
Fully understand your school’s needs and evaluate your current SEND provision


Commission Words First to carry out a whole school audit (or whole year or key stage) of the needs of your students and review your current SEND provision. You do not need to already be partnered with Words First and you can arrange audits as a one-off or regular package regardless of who your current therapy providers are.
Find answers to questions such as:
- How knowledgeable and confident are your staff to meet the needs of each individual student with
- SLCN
- Sensory processing difficulties
- Neurodivergence
- Behaviours that challenge
- SEMH
- Does your current arrangement for Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy provision meet the audit-identified needs of your students
- Does your current SEND training programme meet the needs of your support staff
- Are your intervention approaches evidence based, child centred and holistic
- How do you measure the impact of your SEND provision
- How can you further improve your working relationship with SLT, OT and your SENCO to benefit the child and their family
