Hello, my name is Liv.
I graduated from City University of London in 2021 with a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Therapy. I have worked for Words First since graduating in 2021 and took a brief break to work with adults with brain injury. I have now returned to Words First after realising I am definitely a Paediatric therapist!
In my current role, I work in both mainstream primary and secondary settings. I love being able to work with a variety of ages, between 4-18, and to be continuously adapting my therapy style to suit the client group. This allows for a wide scope of therapy approaches. I currently have a special interest in dysphagia and feeding within paediatrics and working within mainstream settings, I hope to continue to grow these interests and skills. I am passionate about delivering specialist and individualised therapy for my students and I like working with my teachers to embed a universal SaLT approach.
I am a friendly and compassionate person, who loves being around people. In my free time I like to watch rugby and work with my local team. I also like long walks with a pub lunch at the end!
