Hello my name is Meghan!
My role in the company is PA to Amanda Davis, Company Director and Sarah Milne, Head of Service.
I have extensive experience as a Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant as well as in office admin and systems administration – organisation and communication are my speciality. Iâve worked as a Executive Assistant for various Biopharmaceutical companies in Oxford and my last role in the UK was at Pearson Education (Oxford), assisting two Senior Directors (Primary and Secondary School) in managing large publishing teams across four sites in the UK and international offices. One of the best parts of my role is supporting the wider team – being responsive and available and an important link between the team and the senior staff and Directors. I am also a trained Graphic Designer with over 20 yearsâ experience in various design disciplines: print, digital, textile and product design. I have worked with and managed creative teams in corporate, agency and manufacturing settings.
The Words First value that resonates with me most is inclusivity – we are such an inclusive team from several countries around the world, focusing on the same goals with regards to children’s literacy and independence!
Two of my favourite books are Charlotte BrontĂ«âs âJane Eyre’ as I really enjoy Victorian era literature and Kenneth Grahameâs âWind in the Willowsâ.
